We will be distributing door hangers for the annual “Scouting for Food” drive on Saturday, April 11th at 9:00am. For those of you who have never participated in Scouting for Food, it is an annual food drive conducted by the Mid-America Council in partnership with ConAgra Foods and the Food Bank for the Heartland. Our Pack will distribute door hangers with information on the food drive to 1,000 homes in the Willowdale/Lake Zorinsky area.   Scouts will receive a patch at the May campout for their participation!

We will meet in the Willowdale parking lot and receive a route map and door hangers. Class A uniforms are required.  Scouts will be assigned an area and go door to door with their parent or guardian placing flyers on doors.  This process takes about an hour.

The following Saturday, April 18th, we will return (again meeting at Willowdale at 9:00 a.m.) to retrieve donations of nonperishable food items and deliver them back to Willowdale, so please mark that date on your calendars as well.

If you can participate, please fill out the form below and click "Submit".
The more people we have helping, the quicker we will get the door hangers distributed, so please plan on attending!  If you can’t make it that morning, but would like to distribute door hangers some other time that weekend,  contact Mr. Pleiss and he can make arrangements with you.
