Scouting for Food is an ongoing annual program of the Boy Scouts of America whereby food is collected for local food banks. It is organized at the local level throughout the country.
Scouting for Food is a project rooted in the very foundation of the Scouting movement and its dedication to do an implement the Scout Slogan and do good turn daily.
Each year, local Cub and Boy Scouts leave plastic bags for their neighbors soliciting canned food items. One week later, the Scouts return to pick up and deliver the bags of food to a local food bank. The donations will be delivered directly to the local food bank that day.

Our annual fall campout is the weekend of September 11th -13th at Two Rivers State Recreation Area! As with all of our pack campouts, the entire family is welcome, and you may come and go as needed. The cost is $30 per family to camp, plus $2 per person per meal, with a maximum cost per family of $49. For our new families, you must provide your own tents and sleeping gear. We will have fun activities during the day on Saturday. There will be time if you wish to fish. You will need a valid license and bring your own equipment and bait. Saturday night is our Pack Meeting and the Popcorn Fundraiser Kickoff.
Meals: Bring your own food for Friday Night and Saturday lunch. The Pack will provide food for Saturday morning, Saturday supper, and Sunday morning. It is our custom that every family brings a side dish (salad, dessert, chips, etc.) for Saturday night’s meal to share with the group.
Safety: Boy Scouts of America rules prohibit the consumption of alcohol during the campout. The use of tobacco products and E-Cigarettes are not allowed in any of our camp sites. The scouts are not allowed to go in the river and we prefer they are kept a safe distance away from the water at all times. Thank you for your cooperation.
See you at Two Rivers!
Boys join Cub Scouts to do fun things! An active child is a happy child. And while there are lots of activities your son can get involved in, we would love to get him into the Cub Scout program. From nature hikes to archery, Scouting provides once-in-a-lifetime experiences that prepare kids for a lifetime of opportunity. And while you might call it life changing, he'll just call it fun.
Come to the Sign-up for Scouting event listed below to learn about Scouting and ask questions. At this event, your son will have an awesome time building a rocket and launching his Scouting adventure!
